Heritage Apple. Originating from Ireland in 1820, 'Irish Peach' (yes an apple called Peach!) ripens early in summer. The skin is green with faint red stripes and the flesh is high quality with a very good flavour. This apple will not store well and is best eaten straight from the tree. Deciduous.

Freestone, medium-sized fruit, with equal halves with firm orange-yellow flesh and a fine texture. Lovely flavoursome fruit bourn on a vigorous and productive, upright-spreading tree. Ripens before Sundrop. Orange blushed red skin. Meaty flavoursome flesh. Pollination: Sundrop Deciduous

Bred in Taranaki this Apricot has consistent crops of medium sized golden fruit that ripen around February. The fruit are sweet and juicy and the tree is self fertile. Happiest in the sun with good drainage. We recommend pruning in summer after harvesting, only prune on a warm dry day. Self Fertile. Deciduous.

A good choice for the warmer parts of New Zealand as this Apricot does not require such a long 'winter chill' period.

A beautiful little Apricot that as well as being highly ornamental tempts us with delicious fruit. The golden yellow fruits are are a good size and taste delicious, very sweet and juicy. Copes well with warmer climates but as with all apricots does like some winter chill. Self-fertile. Deciduous.

In NZ it is recommended that Apricots are summer pruned rather than the usual practice of pruning fruit trees in winter. Make sure this is done a dry hot day so that any pruning cuts heal quickly.

This Apricot has quite large fruit that are coloured a light yellow and blushed red. The flesh is firm with a sweet taste with just a hint of acid from the skin. A vigorous grower which should produce good crops after 3-5 years. Plant in a sunny sheltered position. Self-fertile. Deciduous.

Apricots are best pruned in summer around about February. Make sure you prune on a warm dry day with sharp clean tools. This allows the cuts to heal quickly and therefore prevent disease.
