Has brilliant yellow leaves accented by bright red stems in spring. The red continues into the base of the leaf. New growth fades in intensity as the season progresses and is more chartreuse in summer. Loves morning sun and afternoon shade. Lavender blooms in summer. Deciduous.

Leaves become rippled at maturity.
