Picture of Apricot Goldbar

This Apricot has quite large fruit that are coloured a light yellow and blushed red. The flesh is firm with a sweet taste with just a hint of acid from the skin. A vigorous grower which should produce good crops after 3-5 years. Plant in a sunny sheltered position. Deciduous.

Apricots are best pruned in summer around about February. Make sure you prune on a warm dry day with sharp clean tools. This allows the cuts to heal quickly and therefore prevent disease. Self-fertile.
