Picture of Pear Hosui

Nashi - Beautiful Asian pear with bronzed round fruit with a mild flavour. The creamy flesh is low acid and therefore very sweet. Self-pollinates but will do better with a companion such as Pear Kosui. Ripens around March. Nashi is the Japanese word for Pear. Deciduous.

Self-pollinates, for best cropping results, companion plant with Kosui, Nijiessekki or Shinseiki
Suitable for warmer areas including Auckland/Northland
