Dark green fern like leaves and oh so pretty single white flowers that appear in abundance in the spring make this little Sweet Hart a must have. Its naturally scrambling habit make it perfect for draping over banks and walls and it looks great in a hanging basket. Evergreen.
As with all Clematis 'Sweet Hart' prefers to have a cool root run so it is important to keep the base of the plant well mulched.
It will perform its best in a sheltered position.

A very useful tree where quick screening is required. Makes a nice back-ground of foliage as well. Should be used more in planting schemes in my opinion. Tolerates most conditions except for really harsh frost when young.

Native. An excellent form of NZ's 'Christmas Tree' that grows with a clean straight trunk and has few aerial roots, making it highly suitable for street planting or the home garden. Leathery green leaves and, of course, beautiful red blooms in summer. Very tolerant of coastal conditions but not harsh frost.
Did you know that the name 'Pohutukawa' means 'drenched with spray'? Referring of course to the many beautiful trees growing in precarious positions on NZ's coastline.
