Std Weeper. A vigorous and hardy rose with arching branches smothered in neat shiny dark green foliage and masses of small deep pink double flowers in generous clusters. The flowers have a light and musky scent. Generally disease resistant. Wonderful accent rose. PVR 1983.

FYI Pierre de Ronsard (1524-1584) was a French Poet who was popular in court about the time of Mary Queen of Scots. He was also an avid gardener. The breeder, Meilland honoured him by the naming of this lovely rose. Poetic justice wouldn't you say?
