Climber. Tea. This glorious, repeat flowering, rose has beautiful, fully double, flattish white flowers with just a hint of cream at the base. The flowers have a delightful fragrance and the foliage is lush and green. A real treasure from the past. This is a natural climbing sport of the bush form. 1850.

Bourbon. This French bred rose has 'old world' charm but actually was only released in 2000. Highly perfumed blooms that are large, loose, double and cupped in a shade of soft lilac pink. Golden stamens complete the picture. The plant is bushy and healthy, producing plenty of blooms.

Bourbon. Deep cerise or magenta- pink double blooms that flower in flushes throughout the season. Beautifully fragrant flowers. Vigorous plant with bright green foliage. Available only in Australia and New Zealand. Bred by Antoine Levet (père) (France, 1889).

Floribunda. Clusters of attractive, well formed flowers in a unique, warm bronze-brown tones. Very free-flowering tidy upright bush, flowers have a fantasic fragrance. Bred by Sam McGredy. Winner of a Certificate of Merit. 1990.

Shrub. A multi award winning rose with showy, single blooms of white with bright yellow centres and edged with rose red. The arching growth is covered in these striking starry blooms and makes quite a sight in full flower. The foliage is generally healthy and disease resistant. PVR.

As this rose flowers right along the arching canes it is best not to prune the bush too hard in winter. Just give a general tidy and remove any spent canes. It would be well worth planting this rose in groups of 3 or more. NZ Rose of the Year in 2005 amongst other awards.
