Hybrid Tea. Gorgeous two toned rose. Petals have a cream base edged in rich raspberry red giving a stunning contrast of colour. Blooms are held high on strong stems either singly or in small clusters. Lovely in a floral arrangement. Nice upright bush, with glossy green leaf.

Glistening pure white blooms, elegantly displayed in clusters of multi-petal cupped form. The citrus scented flowers are perfect for picking, borne throughout the season on a robust growing plant with glossy foliage. Named in celebration of the New Zealand Opera School, Whanganui. Bred in NZ by Bob Matthews

Hybrid Tea. Shapely, warm, yellow blooms with a subtle fragrance that never seems to be without a flower through the season. Good for picking, mid green foliage with good disease resistance and good healthy bush. Commemorates the 150th anniversary of the University of Otago. Released 2019

Hybrid Tea. Sweetly fragrant double, dark, glowing red blooms that are made up of approximately 20 ruffled petals. A dense bushy plant with mid green foliage. Repeats well. 1982.

This rose has high susceptibility to downey mildew and we no longer stock it.

Hybrid Tea. This rose won several international awards and is known as one of the very best fragrant red roses. Leathery dark green foliage and superb, exhibition quality, deep, rich, velvety, crimson blooms. Cut blooms early morning for long lasting vase displays. Repeats well, summer to autumn. 1963.

Hybrid Tea. Well-formed flowers of almost pure white with a soft cream base. Upright growth. An ideal flower for cutting. Winner of many awards, 'Pascali' is firmly established as the world's favourite white, large flowered rose. Soft scent. Flowers continuously throughout the summer. 1963.

Hybrid Tea. Named for the well known French Artist and no doubt inspired by his work. The flowers have tones of warm pink and red with brush strokes of bright white. Most unusual and striking. Healthy dark green foliage. Repeats well. 1992.

Hybrid Tea. Well it had to be red didn't it? This flamboyant, red, red rose with non fading blooms is a worthy representative of the Italian tenor. Long stems perfect for picking. Repeats well throughout the season on a nice upright bush.

aka Peace or Mme A Meilland

Hybrid Tea. Possibly the world's favourite, best known and best loved rose. A delicate soft yellow edged with pink. Lightly fragrant blooms on a very sturdy vigorous bush. Wonderful as a cut flower. Repeats well and shows good disease resistance. Multi award winner. 1945.

This truly superb rose was bred by Frenchman Francis Meilland and named by Field Marshal Alan Brooke to celebrate the liberation of France at the end of WW11. It is a fascinating story - worthy of further reading and certainly 'Peace' is very worthy of planting.
