Austin Std. The light crimson buds open to reveal large, deep velvet crimson blooms that are beautifully fragrant. The blooms are double, full and cupped and can only be described as 'yum'. Repeats well and shows good disease resistance.

Standard Hybrid Tea. An outstanding classic shaped rose chosen to honour the 125th Jubilee of Nelson College for Girls. The blooms are a creamy apricot tinged with pink and set beautifully against dense, glossy, green disease resistant foliage. A tall vigorous grower. PVR

Nelson Girls was bred by Chris Warner of England and named in 2006 by importer Tasman Bay Roses.

Floribunda Std. One of the very best purple roses with richly coloured deep purple petals that gently fade to lilac. At its best when fully open. Very fragrant and a strong grower with good disease resistant. 1991.

Modern Shrub Std. You will love this rose as it is seldom out of bloom and it has a delicious spicy clove fragrance. The flowers are shaded purple and mauve. They have creamy white centre and a light reverse on the petals that ensures the blooms really stand out.

This rose received top reviews from members the NZRS when it was assessed during 2010.

Floribunda Std. Like any self respecting 'Playboy' this rose makes sure it is always the centre of attention. The almost single flowers are tones of brilliant orange, scarlet and yellow. Nice glossy foliage and of course smells good too. Use to add boldness to your planting schemes. 1976.
