A delightful little evergreen shrub from Australia that has graceful slender stems with tiny narrow foliage. In late winter masses of dainty white flowers put on quite a show for several months. Benefits from a fairly hard trim after flowering. Plant in deep acid soil, avoid lime and harsh frost.

Jasmine tripod. In my opinion one of the best evergreen climbers available to gardeners. Leathery glossy green leaves that have tones of red in winter and myriads of little white star shaped flowers in summer. Wonderfully fragrant. Well behaved and easy to grow. A compact shrub with quite coarse green foliage, carmine red buds appear in late winter and open to white blooms tinged pink. Flowers are lightly perfumed and followed by dark blue berries. Easy to grow in sun or light shade. Responds well to pruning. Evergreen.

Commonly known as Periwinkle this little ground-cover has nice glossy green foliage and a quick creeping habit. In spring and summer pretty starry flowers of warm mauve appear en masse. Likes a semi-shaded position and protection from harsh frost. Evergreen. RHS AGM.

I grow my Periwinkle in a tall narrow container where is drapes attractively over the sides. While this plant is quite easy to grow it will do better in soil that does not completely dry out in summer.

A semi dwarf coastal variety of rosemary that forms a natural "box" shape and is native to Australia. Bright green foliage and small mauve flowers in spring and summer. Great for creating a low hedge in the garden or can be left to form it's natural ball shape. Hardy, frost and drought tolerant once established. Evergreen.

This tough little Aussie shrub looks good even when neglected. Dark green rosemary like foliage that forms a spreading mound, masses of white flowers that appear mainly in spring. Likes the sun but will tolerate some shade. Must have good drainage. Evergreen. PVR.
