Intricate, delicate, fascinating... these are words that spring to mind when I think of Leucospermum flowers. Their common name, pincushion flower, certainly gives a resemblance of what they look like but when you really look at them they are so much more. Predominately native to South Africa these plants like a warm setting. Full sun is paramount and excellent drainage too so these guys don't get wet feet. These range from low growing ground covers to small trees and all have beautifully, colourful, pincushions at the end of their branches.
