A rare and beautiful small Maple with elegant finely dissected leaves of bronze-green. Slow growing, best in a sheltered spot away from harsh afternoon sun and strong winds. Introduced by the prestigious Hillier's Nursery in 1928. Deciduous.

Weeping. Deeply dissected foliage bursts into life in spring in a bright shade of lime green. In summer the leaves become edged with red for a striking contrast. Finally, in autumn the foliage takes on a red-orange. The softly rounded crown is made up of elegantly arching branches. Deciduous.

This special maple can also be container grown.

A dwarf Sango kaku. Discovered in Australia this dwarf form looks like a winner for those that want a true Sango but have little space. As with all colour barks you should not grow in really cold areas or wet areas. But for most this is a very nice smaller tree. Deciduous.

"Koto-No-Ito" means harp strings, and it has been named as such because of it's narrow strap like leaves that dance in the wind. The green leaves change to yellow and orange in autumn. This tree has a rounded, dense habit. Prefers moist well drained soil and full sun. Deciduous.
