Excellent alternative for Golden Elms and similar in shape but coming in a bit smaller at 7m mature height.

Maple Rubrum. A North American Maple with interesting red tassel flowers in spring followed by winged seeds. The new large, green foliage turns a brilliant red in autumn and hold colour for a long period. Forms a very handsome specimen tree. Needs a sheltered position - part sun/part shade. Deciduous.

Rubrum. This upright Canadian Maple eventually grows into a tall tree with a narrow columnar habit. In autumn the leaves turn yellow with splashes of red on the margins. Excellent specimen or avenue tree. Protect from strong prevailing winds. Deciduous.

Give it room to grow and will reward you well. Prefers the sun and deep acid soil but reasonably tolerant and very hardy.

A new weeping maple with colours unlike anything that has been available before. The spring growth comes out with lovely russet colours in pink, cream,and gold/yellow, before maturing to greens. Autumn colours are in yellow,orange and reds. Deciduous.
