aka Maple

Herbstfeuer which translates in German as Autumn Fire is a formal green upright maple with pleasant yellow green spring foliage that matures to dark green. This colour tinges with purple in late summer. It's excellent orange-red autumn colour fully lives up to it's name. Deciduous.

aka Japanese Maple

Known for it's transition of colour from greens to reds as winter progresses. As soon as the temperatures begin to drop the bark begins to change colour to yellow at the trunk, the colder it gets the further up the colour moves from pale yellow through orange to intense red at the tips. Deciduous.

aka Japanese Maple

Moonfire hold it's colour in shade better than other red leaf cultivars. Tolerates full sun maintaining it's colour in hot summers. The foliage emerges dark purple in spring and turns red as summer nears, except in shade where the colour remains purple. Autumn colour is fiery red. Deciduous

aka Japanese Maple

A highly ornamental plant with weeping, shrub-like form with mature plants having cascading branches. Leaves emerge bright crimson deepening to burgundy. Plant in morning sun or semi-shade and protect from harsh wind. Suitable for a container. Deciduous.

This Maple will be happiest planted in a sheltered position with protection from harsh winds and hot afternoon sun.

aka Japanese Maple

Maple. The green leaves of this tree are tipped with a scarlet red, this holds very well through the spring, then fades to a nice dark green by summer until its autumn show of bright red. 'Tsuma gaki' performs best in partial shade and over time grows into a small round tree. Deciduous.

aka Ash leaf maple or violet twig box elder

Featuring in spring, masses of burgundy tassels that adorn bare branches. Young shoots and leaves are purple maroon changing to bright green then becoming a deeper rich green as they mature. Leaves turn gold for their autumn display. A vigorous grower with smooth bark. Deciduous.

Great as shade tree for paddocks, larger parks and gardens.

aka Himalyan Birch

A vigorous medium sized broadly conical tree. Attractive pinky and coppery brown bark which peels in horizontal papery flakes. Dark green leaves turn golden yellow in autumn. Noted for very long, yellow-brown catkins up to 17cm in length. Deciduous.

aka Red bud

A unique redbud with variegated white and green leaves that appear once the prolific pink flowers, that grow straight from the bark, have finished. A small, slow growing tree, perfect for smaller gardens or container growing. Autumn brings warm yellow shades in the leaves. Likes a semi shaded, well drained position. Protect from frost when young. Deciduous

An unusually dark hybrid showing clearly influence from Genie the parent. It is a rich glowing velvet red and in some lights the colour becomes almost brick red. This variety sets flowers on all the tips, meaning it will tend to be slower growing. Deciduous

Limelight Magnolia is blanketed in stunning fragrant lemon yellow cup-shaped flowers held atop the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive yellow flower buds.
