aka Silver Whitebeam or Rowan

Silver Whitebeam. A beautiful deciduous tree with bold leathery leaves that are covered in dense creamy-white woolly 'hairs' during spring-summer. The leaves mature to grey-green eventually turning gold prior to leaf fall. Small cream flowers in spring are followed by orange-red berries. Est.10yr.growth.

Sorbus do best in areas that have cold winters. They like a sunny spot to grow in and deep soil that does not completely dry out in summer.
