Hardenbergia is evergreen but will respond well to being cut back to encourage new growth.

This 'Aussie' climber will bring some welcome colour to your garden in winter and spring as long as you give it a warm sheltered position in the garden. Dark green leathery foliage and racemes of purple pea like flowers. Use on a trellis or pergola or scramble loosely over rocks and banks. Evergreen.

Hardenbergia is evergreen but can be cut back hard after flowering to reinvigorate and encourage new growth.

Jasminum mesnyi is one of the true yellow jasmines. This ornamental climber is both vigorous and hardy. They rich yellow flowers are not known to be fragrant but for sheer colour display it is a winner. Responds well to pruning after flowering. Excellent bonsai jasmine. Evergreen.

An unusual Jasmine with a bushy habit, that can remain a rounded shrub if the tendrils are pruned off, as the tendrils do not vigorously twine. Large, strong perfumed, pinkish/white star-like flowers are produced from late Spring through to early Summer. Prefers a warm position - either full sun or partial shade; it will tolerate light frosts.

The twisting, tangled stems of this native Climber make for an interesting and useful plant that can be trained as a climber or used to scramble informally wherever you want quick cover and a plant of interest. Plant in morning sun in soil that does not completely dry out in summer. Semi-evergreen.

The flowers on the female form of Muehlenbeckia are inconspicuous but emit a pleasant fragrance. The flowers are followed by little white berries. This plant also responds well to clipping and is often used for informal topiary work.
