"Colby" produce meaty thin shelled pecans. Nuts mature in May to June when they fall from the tree. The tree will bear pecans after 5 to 7 years. Self fertile but will do better when cross pollinated with Carya Peruque. Plant in full sun, with moist well drained fertile soil. Deciduous.
