A heritage apple from 1872. A classic russet, with a very rich, sweet, nutty flavour. Distinctive, thick, olive green-brown skin. The flesh is cream tinged with green. Compact tree that can be successfully grown in a container. Spur bearing. Ripe around March. Deciduous.

Grafted on M26 rootstock to keep dwarfed. A Japanese variety with large fruit with a smooth red-shaded skin. The creamy white flesh is firm, juicy and sweet with a satisfying crunch when eaten fresh. Stores exceptionally well - for months if refrigerated. Ripe from mid autumn onwards. Deciduous.
