Blueberry Northern Highbush. An early ripening mild, sweet flavoured berry. Foliage turns yellow-orange in Autumn. Plant in acidic soil in the garden/orchard and allow to grow big and beautiful, or grow in a container, prune for shape and size. Hardy, self-fertile, improve yield with another NH plant.

Good for harvesting November/ December.

Blueberry Rabbiteye, A small compact habit and long arching branches. Pink-tinged white flowers appear in spring followed by large, dark, juicy fruit. Leaves make a fantastic display of burgundy wine tones in autumn. Self-fertile, Semi-Evergreen.

Although self-fertile (no other blueberries are required for pollination), additional plants or planting with other Blueberries will increase volume of fruit.

A highly attractive tree reaching 5m in height with beautiful cascading soft green leaves. The light green rounded fruit is medium in size and packed with delicious flavoured fruit with a hint of lemon. Great for warmer climates but will not tolerate coastal conditions. Frost tender when young.

The yield will depend on whether hand pollination is preformed.

The best of both. a sour and sweet cherry. Tangshi-A sour red skin and yellow flesh and are mainly used for culinary purposes. Lapins - Large, firm, dark red cherries with a sweet flavour. Ripens around January. Reliable producer. Plant in a sunny well drained spot. Deciduous.

aka Yellow Skin Pitaya

Dragonfruit tree is a cactus native to southern Mexico and Central America. The fruit of this variety, also known as Pitaya, has a yellow skin with green scales that resemble a dragon. The pulp is red with small black seeds. Very large (25-30 cm) white flowers open overnight and wither by morning.

Great specimen tree or ideal as a shade tree that will add interest to any garden. It's very cold hardy as its deciduous, however late frost can damage new shoots. Better to be grown in a warm sheltered position. Full sun.

The swollen stalks can be eaten fresh or added to dishes where you use dried fruit. They can be stored for 2 months where the flavour improves. The swollen stalks taste like crunchy raisins. Stalks can be hand picked from the tree or left to naturally drop.

Australian Brown Finger lime. Known as the caviar of citrus with deliciously aromatic, smooth pebbled skin thats pink turning to brown when ripe, with a crisp lemon lime flavour combination with tiny leaves and thorns. Needs a sheltered frost free site to crop really well. Can be grown in a container.

aka Rhubarb

A tall, vigorous variety with very decorative leaves that are a dense green. Its long stems are bright red in Winter and Summer. Young stems can be eaten raw if its to your liking otherwise stewed and made into crumbles, muffins or pies. Lovely to have in the kitchen garden or large barrel planter.

Remember - Don`t eat the leaves.

A newer variety that has compact growth with highly decorative dense blue-green leaves.Short, thick and juicy stems that are bright ruby redat the base fading to green at the top. Great for jams and crumbles. Plant in the sun in well drained soil. Winter dormant in cool areas.

This selection of tamarillo can survive and fruit well in many cooler parts of the country. Good taste and texture quality. Best with plenty of sun and sheltered from cold winds and hard frosts but is cold tolerant. Rich in vitamins and minerals with alot of culinary uses. Self-fertile.
