A beautiful shrub with mid green pointed leaves with serrated edges that lay in tiers along the branches. The large, creamy white flowers open out in the spring and smother the bush in beautiful bloom. Small red berries that turn black follow the flowers. Plant in sun or part shade. Deciduous.

While Mariesii is self-fertile, you will generally get more berries if you plant more than one Viburnum plicatum cultivar (such as 'Summer Snowflake') nearby for cross-pollination

'Pink Beauty' is a spreading medium-sized deciduous shrub. It has ovate, attractively veined leaves that turn purplish in autumn. Flowers form in flat, lacecap heads of creamy-white, ageing to pink, sometimes followed by red (later black) berries. Deciduous.

While Pink Beauty can produce berries on its own, planting another Viburnum plicatum (e.g. Mariesii) should increase berry production

If you wish to prune your 'Summer Snowflake' it is best done after flowering though this may reduce the amount of berries. Lovely background shrub and fabulous in a group of 3 or more.

This tough little Aussie shrub looks good even when neglected. Dark green rosemary like foliage that forms a spreading mound, masses of white flowers that appear mainly in spring. Likes the sun but will tolerate some shade. Must have good drainage. Evergreen.
