This beautiful Magnolia is indeed a sweetheart with large soft mm pink blooms with a deeper pink centre. Developed in NZ by Mr Peter Cave. The flowers are fragrant and appear from late winter until spring. Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot in well drained acid soil. Deciduous.

As this Magnolia has a columnar habit i.e. narrow upright growth it is a perfect choice for smaller gardens.

Floribunda. This award winning rose has dark shiny foliage and slender pink rose buds that open to blush pink cupped blooms. The sweetly scented flowers appear continuously throughout the summer. With good disease resistance this is overall just a lovely rose. 1991.

aka AKA Bonita or The St Edmunds Rose

Shrub. Memories of You is an upright, shrub rose with green leaves. It has fragrant, large blooms of orange-apricot with pink overtones that bloom throughout summer. This rose is known in different countries as Bonita or The St. Edmunds Rose and has won awards throughout Europe and Japan.

aka Pohutukawa

Native. An excellent form of NZ's 'Christmas Tree' that grows with a clean straight trunk and has few aerial roots, making it highly suitable for street planting or the home garden. Leathery green leaves and, of course, beautiful red blooms in summer. Very tolerant of coastal conditions but not harsh frost.

Did you know that the name 'Pohutukawa' means 'drenched with spray'? Referring of course to the many beautiful trees growing in precarious positions on NZ's coastline.
