This native 'grass' is really tough and hardy tolerating cold winds and almost any soil. The brick-orange foliage looks very graceful as it waves and dances in the wind. Ideal for planting in large drifts. If the clumps become a little untidy just chop back hard for renewed vigour. Evergreen.

The perfect plant to add texture and movement to your planting scheme. The arching narrow foliage sways gracefully in the wind. Plumes of creamy green flowers appear in early summer. Hardy and tolerant, easy to grow just about anywhere but prefers a well drained position. Evergreen.

A very striking plant for adding strong texture to the garden. Particularly affective when planted in groups. The narrow arching foliage glows and shimmers in the sun & ripples elegantly in the wind. Attractive flower heads in summer. Hardy and tolerant. Evergreen.

A large, fast-growing coarse green tussock. Versatile revegetation and erosion-control plant, and useful low shelter on wet and dry sites. Attractive creamy white flower heads to 2-3m from December-January. Great under pivots. Evergreen. Hardy.

A native perennial with narrow spears of bronze green foliage that turns orange-brown in winter. Wiry stems of dainty white 'butterfly' flowers appear in spring and summer. Prefers a semi-shaded position and acid soil. Evergreen.
