Probably better known as Bird's Nest Fern is a very striking feature plant with its bright green, wavy edged fronds that grow in a rosette shape forming a bowl or nest shape in the centre. Can be grown as an indoor plant for air purification or outside. Frost tender.

Thriving in the low light it is an excellent container plant for a sheltered and shaded patio or shade house in warm climates.

This NZ native Fern makes a striking cover plant for shady situations. Looks good group planted beneath established trees and is useful to plant with Hostas carrying on the interest after the Hostas have died down. Likes the shade and nice moist humus rich soil. Protect from frost.

Native. A hardy fern with distinctive foliage. Its form is an open rosette with the ladder-style fronds which are typical of the Blechnum genus. This shape gives it the cute common name of Octopus fern. Like most ferns, Blechnum fluviatile enjoys moist shaded conditions for optimum growth.

Evergreen Tree fern. Reddish brown, very thick trunk with a beautiful crown of dark green fronds approx 1-2m in length and pale underneath. Easily grown and frost hardy. Likes sun or shade but best kept in a cool damp climate. Water well while establishing.
