Floribunda. Bred in NZ by Rob Somerfield and a multi award winner, this showy rose has regular clusters of bright cherry red blooms with a hint of silver on the reverse. Nice dark green foliage and generally a healthy happy bush. Released in 2013. PVR.

Austin. The blooms of this beautiful rose are fully double and rosette shaped. The petals are a delicious, delicate pink touched with just a hint of soft apricot. Delightful fresh fragrance. Flowers displayed on branches with an arching habit.

Moss. A tall and vigorous rose with sprays of buds covered in green 'moss' that open out to large crimson-purple, informal blooms that gently fade to soft mauve. Deliciously fragrant. Flowers in early summer only but well worth planting. From France 1855.

Austin. Not to be confused with a previous release AKA 'Wisley'. This is a rose with exceptional delicacy and charm with shallow cupped rosettes of bloom in a soft pink shade. The blooms are very fragrant and repeat well. Slightly arching habit.

Wisley is the research garden run the Royal Horticultural Society. The first 'Wisley' rose released by David Austin did not continue to meet the high standards expected of an Austin rose so it has been withdrawn and replaced with 'Wisley 2008'. F.Y.I.

aka Snow-Bush Rose or Dupont Rose

Species. Beautifully shaped pure white flowers with pronounced golden stamens and a sweet perfume appear amongst the grey-green foliage in early summer. The simple yet exquisite flowers are followed by nice orange hips in the autumn. Tolerant and hardy. From France some time before 1817.

Floribunda. This rose has gorgeous pure white blooms on a compact bushy form. The fragrance is devine! Dark green foliage enhance the icy white flowers. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Austin. The double full blooms of this gorgeous rose are large and deeply cupped even when fully open. They have a strong fragrance and are coloured a deep magenta shade with a silvery hue. A lovely rose that will provide you with plenty of blooms to pick and enjoy.

Now this is interesting - the Poet Milton introduced the word fragrance to the English language. This very fragrant rose is named after the Milton poem called 'Lycidas' to commemorate the 400th anniversay of Milton's birth. Don't worry there won't be a test when you buy the rose!
