Rugosa. A pretty little rose with creamy-white button blooms that has petals with a serrated edge. The blooms appear continuously throughout the season and have a delightful fragrance. Quite strong and robust, can cope with a little shade and is generally healthy and disease resistant. 1962.

This is hardy Rugosa tolerates poor and sandy soil, coastal salt spray, wind, and copes well in little shade. Originally found in areas of Russia, China and Japan. Hips are used for jam, jelly and tea.
