A great winter flowering plant with masses of nodding red flowers with yellow tips. Our native birds, the bellbirds, tui, and waxeyes love feeding on it. Plant one outside your dining room window and watch the birds feast through the winter. It likes a part shade situation with some protection from frost. Prefer a sheltered spot.
