Fountain Bamboo is eaten by the giant panda more than any other variety. Thin foliage hangs around the canes giving the appearance of a fountain. Canes become deep purple to black. On hot summer days the foliage rolls up for protection then as the sun moves on the foliage opens up. Prefers morning sun, great for pots and indoor. Perennial
