A small low growing rounded shrub with deep red flowers in Oct/Nov. The flowers are suitable for picking. Prefers sunny situation in a well drained soil. Protect from frost while young.

A prostrate plant more suited for low plantings. Good for banks, rockeries and ground covers as they have trailing branches with yellow flowers turning orange then red with all colours seen on the plant at once. Hardy to coastal conditions and drought once established. Evergreen.

Will tolerate poor soil as long as its free draining.

A love of sunshine and a high tolerance of dry soils make Leucospermum ‘Harry Chittick’ the perfect, low maintenance shrub. It’s one of those ‘plant and forget’ shrubs, needing nothing more than cutting off of the old flower heads after they finish their flowering in early summer.
