A vigorous upright shrub with glossy, green and slightly textured leave. It features dark brown shiny bark and lily-like white trumpet flowers with frilly lobes and a yellow throat. The flowers have a nutmeg fragrance. Best grown in morning sun and afternoon shade, acidic soil that well drained.

This dwarf from the Yakushimanum collection is slow growing but so worth it. Lovely soft pink flowers surround a center of almost white center. A compact grower with good trusses of flowers and large leaves in the background. Can be grown in a decent pot or container in the courtyard or in the garden.
