This is an excellent little shrub that will reward you for very little effort. The leathery bronze-green foliage always looks good and the deep pink flowers appear in generous clusters from late winter to spring. Nice compact low habit, easy to grow in a sunny spot. Evergreen.

Commonly known as Indian Hawthorn, Rhaphiolepis fergusonii is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves and small white fragrant flowers from late winter to spring. Easy to grow in a sunny spot in the garden.

Big truss with very large cherry-red blooms, flowering mid season. A vigorous upright habit with a large dark green foliage. Will look good in any ones garden with morning sun and afternoon shade. Fertilize with an acid fertilizer as buds are forming. Evergreen.

This is a tall evergreen shrub up to 3m, with large shiny leaves which look attractive all year round. It has rounded clusters of tiny pink perfumed flowers in Aug-Sept. From Central America, it is a very tough, drought-tolerant plant and is useful as a background shrub or grown as an informal hedge.

Trimming it back after flowering will promote a denser form. It will look at its best, and be most floriferous, in a sunny spot. It dislikes frost.
