This hebe was developed by a Waikato Nursery as part of the Regal Series of Hebes and named for the Duchess of Cambridge. New leaf shoots are burgundy red in colour, maturing to deep olive green. Masses of purple flowers develop through summer. Trim back after flowering to keep tidy. PVR eligible.

Named for the young Prince George, this very tidy, attractive Hebe was bred in the Waikato, part of the royal series. The green and glossy foliage stays clean and compact all year. Masses of royal blue flowers appear in summer across the top of the branches making an appealing display. PVR eligible.

A stunning Leucadendron that looks good all year round. Stems of brilliant flame red flower bracts make a real statement and are irresistible for picking. Deserves a prominent position in a warm sheltered spot in the garden. Prefers acid soil and protection from harsh frost. Evergreen.

Leucadendrons are low nutrient plants i.e. they don't like a lot of fertilizer especially those with nitrogen and phosphate. If in doubt leave it out.

aka Tulip Tree

Tulip Tree. A magnificent specimen tree that is worthy of planting. Strong straight trunk pyramidal form and attractive large, lobed, green and leaves that turn deeper yellow in autumn. In the spring it flowers with unusual tulip shaped green blooms with orange markings. A great paddock tree. Deciduous. Est 10yr.growth.

The Liriodendron is a close relative of the Magnolia and likes the same type of deep acid soil. It is more tolerant of moisture than the Magnolia. A perfect memorial tree to celebrate a birth. Give this tree the space it deserves to reach its full magnificence.

A truly beautiful Magnolia with soft yellow fragrant blooms that when fully open dance on the branches like giant butterflies. Flowers appear from late winter until early spring. Will grow in full sun or part shade, protect from strong winds. Est.10.yr.growth.

A good small tree with quite a wide growth habit. The juvenile spring foliage is an attractive bronze shade. The flowers are a pale yellow with a shaggy star shape. Great for smaller landscape designs. Happiest in the sun with protection from strong winds. Est.10yr.growth.

This Magnolia has a Gold Star from the Royal Horticultural Society in that it has received an Award of Garden Merit.
