Hybrid Tea. This Romeo is described as healthy and strong, beautifully formed, with good weather resistance and a nice fragrance. Sounds like the man, oops, rose for me! This truly superb rose was bred by Frenchman Francis Meilland and named by Field Marshal Alan Brooke to celebrate the liberation of France at the end of WW11. It is a fascinating story - worthy of further reading and certainly 'Peace' is very worthy of planting.
