aka Finger Lime

Australian Finger limes. Known as the caviar of citrus with deliciously aromatic, smooth pebbled skin that turns yellow when ripe with a crisp lemon lime flavour combination with tiny leaves and thorns. Needs a sheltered frost free site to crop really well. Can be grown in a container.

aka Tahitian or Persian Lime

Citrus Standard. Beautiful glossy green aromatic foliage, delicious green skinned, seedless fruit full of juice that can be used from spring onwards. Fragrant blossoms and thornless branches all make for a winning combination. Evergreen.

While it is common to use Limes when they are green they are actually fully ripe when they turn yellow like a Lemon. They will fall naturally from the tree once ripe. Citrus Information Pages

aka Box Honeysuckle

'Box Honeysuckle' is a fast growing evergreen shrub with tiny, oval, deep green, glossy leaves that are perfect for shaping and trimming. Popular for topiary and hedging and presented here as an attractive spiral. Hardy and easy to grow in the garden or a container, prefers a sunny position.

'Box Honeysuckle' or Lonicera does have small creamy fragrant flowers in summer but these are usually removed with regular clipping. To keep your spiral shape trim regularly with sharp secateurs.

aka Fringe Flower

An attractive and easy care shrub with arching branches of deep burgundy wine foliage. In spring and summer dark pink 'fringed' flowers appear and these carry a pleasant fragrance. Easy to grow in sun or part shade, prefers well drained soil. Presented here as a topiary standard.

An interesting shrub with neat oval leaves that are shaded in tones of burgundy and deep green. The shaggy bright pink 'fringed' flower heads appear in spring. The growth habit is slightly lax and pendulous. Easy to grow in sun or part shade. Prefers a slightly acid soil. Evergreen.

aka Standard Mandarin

Citrus. Standard. This variety ripens around June-July. It has good sized, sweet juicy fruit with very few seeds and a tangy flavour. Peels easily and cleanly. Generally crops well. Plant in a sunny, well drained spot in fertile soil. Evergreen.

Citrus. Medium sized, very juicy, thin skinned fruit which is easy to peel and almost seedless. Ripens December holding fruit until around March. Mandarins are happiest in a sunny well drained position. Evergreen.

This olive from Greece has a nice compact form making a good choice for topiary work. Attractive grey green foliage and small white flowers followed by heavy crops of small fruit that have good oil content. Happiest in the sun with protection from harsh wind. Standard. Evergreen.

NZ Native. What a fabulous little landscaping plant this compact Pittosporum is - fresh lime green foliage that always looks good and a natural rounded growth habit. Happy in sun or part shade, in the garden or in a container. Trims well. Hardy and evergreen. PVR.

Though happiest in well drained fertile soil 'Humpty Dumpty' is remarkably tolerant of less than ideal conditions.
