Dawn Redwood. This ancient Chinese Conifer was rediscovered in the 1940's and is now grown throughout the world. A handsome tree with ferny green foliage and 'shaggy' brown bark. The foliage turns gold-bronze prior to leaf fall. Likes some shelter, sun and a fertile, moist soil. Deciduous.
