This sage has tubular red flowers with a scent reminiscent of pineapple; hence the common name. It's native to Mexico, where it was used in traditional medicine to treat anxiety. Both leaves and flowers are edible and make a great tea, or a pretty garnish for a salad or cocktail. Perennial.
