Its a Dogs Life!
Hi
A client with her grandchildren came into the garden centre yesterday and asked where all the dogs were. Well there are no prizes for guessing the answer. LOL, they were all with the office girls, sprawled over the floor, in the dry and with a heat pump going. It's a crack up to see four but up to seven dogs either in dogs beds or just K'oed over the floor.
I laughed and said where the dogs were as we all got umbrellas and shopped through yet another shower. The dogs certainly know where to hang out with this kind of weather. It's probably just as well as Lucy the Scottie is so low to the ground she'd be like a walking toothbrush and be covered in mud everyday. Some of our friends are even rude enough to liken my baby to a judder bar.......

Well if you're not over this weather, I am!! These squally showers have passed their use by date. Through them we have just about completed all the potting. That includes all the ornamental trees and fruit trees and so the big project will be to try and filter all the apples with apples instead of having the stuff all around the nursery where nobody can find it.
New In this week
Daphne Finally arrived in this week and about to burst into flower with that stunning fragrance that we all know so well. Performs best in a well drained ,dappled light position or on the eastern side where it gets all the morning sun Two excellent grades of plants of both the tradditional pink and white form and of course the pure white.
Camellias Debbie, Margaret Davis and Swan Lake. These are huge chunky field grown plants, all approximately 100/110cm high and a good 60cm wide full and bushy,

Ligustrums Create some drama with foliage or ideal as a small hedge at around 1metre high. Tough and hardy suiting most position. These are also great field grown plants
Cordyline Green goddess. I just love this Cabbage tree with its wide ish almost sub tropical leaves. It doesnt get too big and will branch as it gets older to give that full head look.Plant in threes for a good look Great value $19.99 now just $9.99
Erica springwood white We sold out of these and have managed to get some more. Great small shrub for a low maintenance style garden. Would look good mass planted and contrasted with other foliages. Normally $18.99 now Just $7.99

Hebes Choose from Diosmifolia Minor, Inspiration, Beverley Hills, Sunset Boulevard, Heebie Jeebies. Still plants of these and great fillers for the garden.
