Exquisite, large, star shaped blooms open from elegant buds in early spring. The flowers are a soft gGarnetrey mauve and are softly highlighted with a bar of maroon through each petal. Needs to have its head in the sun and its roots in deep, cool, well drained soil. Deciduous.
