A sport of Black Dragon, this variety has intense violet-blue buds opening to cornflower blue double blossoms on long racemes. The blooms emerge at the same time as the spring foliage and carry a soft perfume. Easy to grow in a sunny spot but will need a good support structure. Deciduous.
