An enduring favourite, this variety has medium sized fruit that ripen in mid February. The freestone fruit is mainly red over green skin, the flesh is white, juicy and aromatic. Good dessert and fresh eating variety. Originating in the Kaipara region, this is a vigorous and highly productive tree. Self Fertile. Deciduous.

This highly ornamental Nectarine has pink spring blossom and purple-green summer foliage. Along with that you get delicious sweet Nectarines with purple skin and cream coloured flesh. What a combination. Grows well all NZ. Discovered in the Waikato and named after the founder - Mabel. Deciduous.
