Probably better known as Bird's Nest Fern is a very striking feature plant with its bright green, wavy edged fronds that grow in a rosette shape forming a bowl or nest shape in the centre. Can be grown as an indoor plant for air purification or outside. Frost tender.

Thriving in the low light it is an excellent container plant for a sheltered and shaded patio or shade house in warm climates.

A stunning hybrid form of NZ's Cabbage Tree bred by the Jury family. Long, cascading strap like leaves of deep maroon form an attractive clump. Looks great in the garden and fabulous in a container. Sprays of small fragrant flowers in late spring-summer. Evergreen.

This 'Cabbage Tree' seldom forms a trunk and remains a nice compact clump. Looks good planted in groups of 3 or more and is happiest planted in the sun.

Cordyline “Showoff” features narrow, strap like, glossy green leaves with purple colourings. These are held off upright stems and provides for a very lush looking plant. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 60 cm wide, preferring a partial shade position with plenty of moisture and good drainage.

Good in a tropical garden, used as a screen or as a specimen in a pot. Can be grown indoors.

Corokia are tolerant of coastal conditions and thrive in just about any soil though their preference is for an open sunny site. Very quick to establish. Can be grown in a container.

Native. This shade loving herbaceous ground cover loves the damp. Found along streams,waterfalls and gullies, plant where consistent moisture is available. Named for the young Prince George, this very tidy, attractive Hebe was bred in the Waikato, part of the royal series. The green and glossy foliage stays clean and compact all year. Masses of royal blue flowers appear in summer across the top of the branches making an appealing display. PVR eligible.

A very pretty little Hebe that will add some sweetness to the garden. Glossy olive green foliage that is topped off with racemes of pink flowers in spring and autumn. The flowers gradually fade to white. Plant in a sunny well drained spot and trim after flowering. Evergreen.

This lovely lavender forms an upright, branched, open evergreen bush. The narrow, spear-shaped, green leaves are a good contrast to the lavender flowers which fade to white. Free flowering from summer through autumn.

Native. This lovely species Hebe forms a rounded bushy shrub with dark green glossy leaves. Large racemes of purple-blue flowers appear on and off for most of the year. Grows happily in sun or part shade and is tolerant of coastal conditions but doesn't like harsh frost. Evergreen.

The term 'speciosa' is Latin for very showy so you know this Hebe is going to be well worth planting at your patch.

A lovely neat and tidy Hebe that always looks like it has just been clipped hence the common name of Topiarist's Hebe. The dainty grey-green leaves on short stems form a rounded compact mound. Use in groups or as an ideal contrast plant. Likes the sun and well drained soil. Hardy and evergreen.

Hebe Topiaria will occasionally flower in summer with little white flowers that are rather inconspicuous. Its value is as a foliage shrub and is highly enough thought of to have received an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
