A small low growing and spreading shrub. The flowers which are terminal are rosy red with a white centre and flower in Winter. Likes well drained soils in full sun. Frost tolerant.

Pyracantha are suitable for training as espaliers and look particularly good against a sunny wall where you can observe the birds par-taking of a 'berry' nice breakfast.
