This small, deciduous tree comes from Central China where it is planted to represent purity and candor. Masses of scented, ivory-white flowers appear from mid winter to early spring, just before the fresh green leaves. Really lovely, happiest in a sheltered spot. Est.10yr.growth.

An unusually dark hybrid showing clearly influence from Genie the parent. It is a rich glowing velvet red and in some lights the colour becomes almost brick red. This variety sets flowers on all the tips, meaning it will tend to be slower growing.

This magnificent Magnolia hybrid was bred in NZ by Mark Jury and named to honor his father Felix Jury. The magenta pink flowers are HUGE and appear from early spring. Quite a sight in full flower. Plant in a sheltered spot in well drained acid soil for best results.

A good small tree with quite a wide growth habit. The juvenile spring foliage is an attractive bronze shade. The flowers are a pale yellow with a shaggy star shape. Great for smaller landscape designs. Happiest in the sun with protection from strong winds. Est.10yr.growth.

This Magnolia has a Gold Star from the Royal Horticultural Society in that it has received an Award of Garden Merit.
