A beautiful looking apple with bright red skin and sweet flesh that is said to carry a distinctive strawberry flavour. Very popular in Victorian times as a dessert apple but actually dates from Devon in 1676 hence the name. Deciduous.

Very attractive, early English, Heritage variety with rosy red flushed fruit. The flesh is crisp and juicy with a sharp taste. When left to ripen on the tree the fruit becomes sweeter with a taste that is reminiscent of strawberries. Yum! Disease resistant. Deciduous. Award winner.

Apple Information Page 'Discovery' is a very reliable variety with apples that are ready to eat in summer time. The Royal Horticultural Society has awarded this apple with a Certificate of Garden Merit.

A heritage apple from 1872. A classic russet, with a very rich, sweet, nutty flavour. Distinctive, thick, olive green-brown skin. The flesh is cream tinged with green. Compact tree that can be successfully grown in a container. Spur bearing. Ripe around March. Deciduous.

A connoisseurs delight! A cross between Golden Delicious and Cox's Orange Pippin, sensational sweetness, aromatic, creamy, white flesh with a fine and juicy texture. The greenish-yellow russetted fruit has a mid season ripening time. Yum. Deciduous.

Apple Information Page 'Fuji' is a Tip Bearer meaning that the flowers and fruit are produced on the end of branches i.e. branch tips - be mindful of this when pruning. The fruit will store well for months if refrigerated.
