A rare attractive and distinctive shrub. Leathery rounded grey-green leaves. Beautiful very long silver green catkins hang from the branch tips throughout the winter. Frost hardy and easily grown. Tolerates a coastal site. Evergreen.

As a point of interest there are separate Male and Female Garrya plants but the Male is usually grown because it as the longer catkins. An exception to the rule that says 'size doesn't matter.'

A mat-forming shrub has deeply lobed evergreen oak-like leaves and burgundy-red spring flowers. The leaves flush bronze and mature to dark green. Toothbrush-shaped clusters of dark red flowers appear along the stems from late winter to late spring, and sometimes again in fall.

A free flowering shrub with dark green foliage that is white underneath. 'Spidery' clusters of bright red and yellow flowers put on a display from winter through to summer. Likes a nice hot dry spot free from frost. Not fussy about soil type and doesn't need fertilizer to do well. Evergreen.

Grevillea 'Cream Passion' is a medium sized, bushy shrub with a spreading habit. It has attractive deeply dissected blue green foliage. In late winter to early summer large cream and pink flowers will be seen covering the bush. Prefers full sun and good drainage. Evergreen.

Deua Gold is a compact ever blooming shrub with delightful gold spider flowers. The glossy green leaves are held on arching branches and are set off with flowers for most of the year with a crescendo in late winter spring. This is a great specimen or container plant to add year round interest to your garden. Evergreen. PVR
