A beautiful Hosta with clean silver blue foliage that forms a robust clump that simply gets better with age. In summer stems of nodding bell like mauve flowers appear above the leaves. Plant in semi-shade in nice rich moist soil for best results. Can be container grown. Perennial.

This Hosta was bred right here in the Waikato.

The pretty yellow leaves with a dark green margins have prominent veins throughout which give this hosta a stained glass window effect. Sun tolerant. Likes fertile soil and needs adequate moisture if grown in full sun. Has wonderfully scented pale lavender flowers in late summer. Perennial

The mature leaves of this Hosta are huge! Gorgeous, glossy, chartreuse, heart shaped leaves and palest lavender flowers make this a real stunner. Will perform its best in moist soil with protection from the afternoon sun. The longer it is established the better it will get.

This cold hardy, perennial form of candytuft, is a little charmer with pretty evergreen foliage which is covered in a blanket of large clusters of snow white flowers from mid to late spring. Excellent for the border and in containers or as an effective groundcover. Perennial.

Blood-red spikes that fade to bright green at the base and become translucent with age make this grass a spectacular addition to the perennial border. It takes a while to strut its stuff, but in late summer, it shines like a jewel before it dies back. A real eye catcher.

Assorted. A mixed collection of seedling Japanese Iris. These iris like locations that are damp to wet like in a pond or surrounding edges or swampy areas. Beautiful colours with different shade of whites, pinks, reds and purples. Lovely to have dotted around the garden for pops of colour. Deciduous.

Stunningly coloured foliage, large glaucous leaves with stunning rich red edges. Great for the low maintenance garden, easy and reliable. Best grown in full sun in well drained soils.

aka Flower Dust Plant

An unusual perennial with succulent type foliage that appears to have been dusted with powder hence the common name 'Flower Dust Plant'. In winter-spring pink flowers complement the grey tones of the leaves. Needs good drainage, and protection from frost. Evergreen.

This little plant would be perfect in a container sitting in a sheltered entrance-way. It is important to keep on the dry side in winter i.e. water sparingly.
