Intermediate Historic Iris. Bred in NZ this Iris starts blooming very early in spring and carries on for several months. Generous amount of light blue-mauve blooms set amongst grey clump forming foliage. Known as a "good doer". Plant in a well drained sunny spot with the rhizomes exposed.

An unusual perennial with succulent type foliage that appears to have been dusted with powder hence the common name 'Flower Dust Plant'. In winter-spring pink flowers complement the grey tones of the leaves. Needs good drainage, and protection from frost. Evergreen.

This little plant would be perfect in a container sitting in a sheltered entrance-way. It is important to keep on the dry side in winter i.e. water sparingly.
