A bold landscaping plant with cream and green arching variegated leaves up to 1m long that form a large clump. In spring a flower spike with dark pink bracts rises above the the foliage. Can be grown in sun or part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Best protected from frost. Evergreen. PVR.

This variety of Beschorneria is considered to more cold hardy than others. It will probably tolerate a light frost but will do better in a warm well drained spot with protection from harsh conditions. Suitable for a container and would certainly look quite dramatic in one.

Boronia Denticulata - Mauve Boronia. The Mauve Boronia displays masses of Lilac Mauve starry flowers in winter and Spring. The leaves are strongly aromatic, small and light-green in colour. Easily grown in a lime-free soil. Prune hard after flowering.

One of the best shrubs to come out of Australia is this highly fragrant A delight to the senses, when we most need it in late winter. The little round brown/yellow flowers appear en masse, complement the dainty bronze-green foliage. Needs good drainage and acid soil. Evergreen

Don't be disappointed if your Boronia does not have a long life. Mother Nature designed it that way as in Australia it usually naturally regenerates from seed after being destroyed by fire. Pruning immediately after flowering may assist re-growth.

A hybrid form of Boronia with large fragrant purple flowers that appear from spring to summer. The dainty green foliage is evergreen. Quite a vigorous grower that likes a semi-shaded spot and cool acid soil. Trim lightly after flowering, protect from harsh frost and avoid lime. PVR.

Handsome shrub with attractive silver grey foliage with soft felted undersides. Bright yellow daisy flowers appear in summer but really the foliage is the main feature. Plant in a sunny well drained position. Tends to have a fairly open habit but can be trimmed to keep compact. Evergreen.

A bushy small native tree with large leaves that are green on top and with an attractive white felt underside. Fragrant creamy flowers are abundant in spring. Will grow in sun or semi-shade and prefers rich moist soil. Can be trimmed every year to keep nice and tidy. Evergreen.

A semi-evergreen shrub/tree with lovely golden-orange, huge (20–30cm), trumpet shaped flowers with a memorable fragrance. Their soft leaves give a lovely tropical look but can be marginally frost tender. Prefer a hot sheltered position with well drained soil. All parts of this plant are poisonous.
