A robust evergreen shrub that flowers prolifically producing high volumes of crimson red spikes almost all year round. Prefers light to medium soils in a moist sunny position. Prune after flowering to maintain for shape and size. Good for home gardens and will withstand coastal conditions.

Bird attracting for the nectar in the bottle brush flowers. Frosty hardy.
