aka Crepe , Poached Egg Tree

A highly ornamental large shrub with glossy green foliage and attractive dappled bark. The white flowers are large, single and delicate with prominent golden stamens and appear from autumn to winter. They earn this shrub its common name of the 'Poached Egg Tree'. Evergreen

The Gordonia is very closely related to the Camellia and likes very similar growing conditions. Plant in morning sun or dappled shade in well drained acid soil. Although Gordonia will grow quite large if left unhindered it can be trimmed and shaped to maintain the desired size.

The Australian Frangipani is a fast growing slender tree with glossy, dark green, pointed foliage. In spring and summer the tree is smothered with dainty, highly fragrant creamy-yellow flowers. Needs a sheltered site in full sun with protection from harsh frost and wind. Evergreen.
