Double Graft Nashi Pear. Housi- Excellent eating, sweet, juicy with good acid balance and a fine texture. Large golden brown fruit - ripe in March-April. Nijisseiki - A gourmet pear with very juicy, sweet, creamy white, crisp flesh. Medium sized greenish-yellow fruit ripe March-April. Deciduous.

Suitable to be grown throughout NZ. Flowers are susceptible to late frosts. Pear and Nashi Information Page Double grafted to allow pollination within the same tree.

Double Graft Nashi Pear. Kosui - Golden brown fruit with russeted skin and crisp juicy flesh superb for eating. Hosui - Round fruit with golden russeted skin. Intensely flavoured juicy flesh. These Pears are ripe around March when the fruit should come away easily from the tree with a light twist.

Nashi - Beautiful Asian pear with bronzed round fruit with a mild flavour. The creamy flesh is low acid and therefore very sweet. Self-pollinates but will do better with a companion such as Kosui. Ripens around March. Nashi is the Japanese word for Pear. Deciduous.
